Take A Look At Nintendo’s New Prepaid Cards In Japan

The Nintendo 3DS eShop is scheduled to launch next week, and it appears as though preparations are already being made in Japan to provide a new batch of prepaid cards that are compatible with digital purchases for Wii, Nintendo DSi and Nintendo 3DS.

Here’s a look at the regular prepaid cards, courtesy of Inside-Games:

 

 

In addition to these, some stores such as Seven-Eleven will also provide special Mario, Zelda and Famicom-themed cards. Prices for these start at 1,000 yen:

 

 

And here’s a glimpse at a couple of the older themed cards. These are only compatible with the Wii and Nintendo DSiWare, and are going to be completely replaced by the new cards:

 

 

The Nintendo 3DS eShop will launch during the evening of June 6th in the U.S. (June 7th in Japan). Mega Man Legends 3 Prototype Version was initially supposed to launch alongside the shop, but was later delayed to an unknown date.
