Taiko no Tatsujin: Drum ‘n’ Fun Online Ranking Match Rolls Out Worldwide

A free update has given Taiko no Tatsujin Switch online activities. Basically, Taiko no Tatsujin: Drum ‘n’ Fun now includes a mode available in Taiko no Tatsujin: Drum Session since launch. While it is called Taiko Ranked Match in the PlayStation 4 release, on the Nintendo Switch it is called Online Ranking Match.

The Taiko no Tatsujin: Drum ‘n’ Fun Online Ranking Match involves facing others online. Once you get into the mode, you choose the Easy, Normal, Hard, or Extreme League. (This determines the difficulty level of the song.) You then play to climb the rankings and earn Reward Points. As you reach certain Reward Point plateaus, new Player Icons will be unlocked for you to use in this mode.

Each week, ten songs are available for Taiko no Tatsujin: Drum ‘n’ Fun Online Ranking Matches. These are the first ten songs, which will be used for this mode’s matches until December 18, 2019. This means there is a random chance of one of these being the ones picked for your match.
