The Nintendo Switch Taiko no Tatsujin collection that will finally result in two 3DS rhythm games with RPG elements getting localized has a release date. On December 3, 2020, people will be able to get Taiko no Tatsujin: Rhythmic Adventure Pack from the eShop. In addition, Bandai Namco will sell the drum controller for $69.99 starting on November 13, 2020. (That will also work with Taiko no Tatsujin: Drum ‘n’ Fun.)
There’s a new trailer looking at Taiko no Tatsujin: Rhythmic Adventure Pack too. This video is brief, but it gives people a better idea of how the RPG-inspired battles will go. Basically, Don and Katsu will recruit allies, form a party, and then play through snippets of the included songs properly to “beat” them.
The video also reminds people the over 130 song game will have six new songs, with three appearing in each of its adventures. Rhythmic Adventure 1 will have “Charles” by Balloon with Flower, “Marigold,” and “Roki” by Mikito P. Rhythmic Adventure 2 will get “Gurenge,” the Demon Slayer theme song by LiSA, “Hated by Life” by Iori Kanzaki, and “Pretender” by Official Hige Dandism.
Taiko no Tatsujin: Rhythmic Adventure Pack will come to the Nintendo Switch outside Japan on December 3, 2020 and in Japan and Asia on November 26, 2020. Taiko no Tatsujin: Don to Katsu no Jikuu Daibouken and Taiko no Tatsujin Dokodon! Mystery Adventure are immediately available separately on the Nintendo 3DS in Japan.
