Heavy Rain is a mix of an adventure game and a rapid fire quick time events. At E3 I took on the role of Norman Jayden, a FBI profiler searching for the Origami Killer.
White Knight Chronicles won’t come out in North America and Europe until early next year. Sony plans on developing the game, specifically the online portion further, before shipping White Knight Chronicles overseas.
Ratchet and Clank: A Crack In Time brings Ratchet’s robotic sidekick, Clank, back as a playable character. In this game Clank was carrying carrying a golden staff that allows him to activate time pods.
Portable LittleBigPlanet feels just like LittleBigPlanet on the PlayStation 3. A demo level had Sackboy collecting score bubbles and dragging boxes to make platforms.
Sin and Punishment 2 isn’t coming out for awhile, but I got to play an early build of Treasure’s on-rails shooter. You start the game by picking a character. Either Isa, a boy with a jetpack, or Kashi, a girl with a hover board.
Dragon Ball: Revenge of King Piccolo was at E3 and I played the 2.5D Dragon Ball platformer. The level I tried was a boss fight against a pudgy pink fellow.
Layle’s Crystal Bearer power allows him to grab and pick up anything or anyone. You activate his ability by pointing at the object you want to grab and hitting B. Once Layle’s gravity power connects you can toss barrels (or victims) by swinging the Wii remote.
Square Enix added a new feature to the North American version of Dissidia: Final Fantasy. Arcade mode is designed for quick play. The computer automatically sets your stats, attacks, and lines up five enemies to fight.
Atari used to be the go to publisher for Dragon Ball games in North America. Not any more! Moving forward, Namco Bandai is the worldwide publisher for all games related to the anime series.
