Deadly Premonition creator SWERY worked with Microsoft Game Studios to create Dark Dreams Don't Die where you play as a time traveling detective investigating your wife's murder.
The D4 demo I played started with David in a bathroom and was entirely played with Kinect. Waving my hand with an open palm moved a cursor on screen. I had to close my palm to inspect objects.
D4 is an episodic murder mystery story that centers around private detective David Young, who's trying to solve the murder of his wife, Peggy. Well, perhaps “solve” isn't the right word, so much as save.
The game is titled D4: Dark Dreams Don’t Die, and features David Young, a private detective, as its main protagonist. It uses the Xbox One's new Kinect as its primary means of input.
