Konami has attempted to make good, as of late, by showing support behind Castlevania. While it has been a while since a new, real installment, we’re beginning to see the older games again.
For the first time, the Famicom version of Kid Dracula is available outside of Japan, and this goofy game is one of the great things about the Castlevania Anniversary Collection.
"Shortly after launch," Konami will give away Japanese title variants of some Castlevania games as part of a Castlevania Anniversary Collection update.
These week sees the release of several classic games collections, including one for Castlevania and one for Guilty Gear. There's also Ys Memories of Celceta which is seeing a port onto PS4.
Castlevania Anniversary Collection’s full lineup was recently revealed with a May 16 release date. Konami followed up with a new batch of screenshots including Castlevania Adventure and Kid Dracula.
Konami is celebrating its 50th anniversary with three major collections including the Castlevania Anniversary Collection featuring eight games with four that were revealed today plus a May 16 release date.
Konami Anniversary Collection: Arcade Classics, Castlevania Anniversary Collection, and Contra Anniversary Collection will be heading to the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
