The Taekwondo Game Brings “True To Taekwondo” Fighting To Mobile Soon

Recommended Videos

The imaginatively titled The Taekwondo Game – Global Tournament will be bringing “true to Taekwondo” 1v1 fighting to smartphones and tablets this winter. It has currently been soft-launched in the Canadian and Swedish App Stores.

As with all fighting games, The Taekwondo Game emphasizes relying on your reflexes and exploring effective attack combinations against your opponent. Of course, this being Taekwondo, a lot of the attacks are kicks at various heights and power – there’s much less fist work.

The big decider of the game’s quality are the controls. It uses virtual buttons, including: left and right arrows, a block, and three buttons for attacks. It’s accessible while also allowing enough variation for the game to feel competitive and dynamic.

As well as the single player tournament, you’ll be able to challenge your friends to duels in local wi-fi multiplayer.

The Taekwondo Game will be available on iOS and Android globally this winter. You can find out more about it on its website.
