SINoALICE developer Pokelabo’s “Symphonic Battle RPG”, Symphogear XD Unlimited, first came out in Japan in 2017. Now, the studio is getting ready to show global fans some love by launching the game in English, Korean, and Chinese this Valentine’s Day.

According to the official game Twitter account, preloading for Symphogear XD Unlimited is now open. Interested players can download and install the app on their Android and iOS devices. The game itself won’t be playable until 11am JST on February 14, 2020, though.

Symphogear XD Unlimited is based on the Symphogear anime franchise, which wrapped up its final season in 2019. Symphogear follows a group of girls led by Hibiki Tachibana, Tsubasa Kazanari, and Chris Yukine. They and their allies are wielders of the Symphogear, a mecha suit-like weapons system which is activated when they sing in battle. Both the game and show feature music by Japanese composition outfit Elements Garden and singing by prominent voice actresses like Yuuki Aoi, Mizuki Nana, and Ayahi Takagaki. The game is free-to-play, but players can pay for microtransactions to roll for special variants of the playable characters.

Symphogear XD Unlimited will recount the events of the anime, but also feature side stories, alternate timelines, and crossover events. In fact, the game will go live with a crossover event already underway. The first event is titled Titan Symphony, and will feature characters and stories from the Attack on Titan franchise.

Symphogear XD Unlimited will launch on February 14th, 2020 and will be initially available in the United States, Canada, Australia, Singapore, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macao, and South Korea.
