People residing outside Japan can also place orders, as the WorldShopping widget supports international deliveries for the branded earbuds. The collectibles will be based on Aviot’s existing TE-D01v model, which normally costs ¥11,990 (~$84). The Sword Art Online-branded models have a higher price tag of ¥22,880 (~$160) but will also come with more functions.

Aviot will provide a mobile app where owners can change the system’s voice character. The earbuds will also have a button that will play a random quote by the character when pressed for a long time. The Sword Art Online earbuds will be available in two models. The black Hero model will let owners choose between Kirito, Eugeo, or a combination of both. Meanwhile, the white Heroine model will feature voices from Asuna, Leafa, Sinon, Yuuki, and Alice.

Various kinds of merchandise related to Sword Art Online have been revealed in recent months. In November 2023, Arma Bianca revealed two Independent-brand watches modeled after Kirito and Asuna. Prime 1 Studio has also opened pre-orders for Cutie1 Plus chibi figures of the same characters in mid-December 2023.

Aviot will release the Sword Art Online-themed earbuds on January 19, 2024, at 10 AM JST (January 18, 2024, at 8 PM ET). Pre-orders for the items are open until the aforementioned release time, but the window will close earlier if the number of orders has reached the limit.
