Bandai Namco’s Latin America YouTube account revealed the Sword Art Online: Alicization Lycoris release date. On May 22, 2020, it will arrive on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. This was accompanied by a new trailer in Spanish that briefly looks at some of the most important characters in the Alicization arc. However, later in the day on December 6, 2019, the YouTube trailer and release date information was removed.

This new trailer begins with Kirito facing one of the main Alicization antagonists. He’s standing off against Quinella, the Underworld Administrator and Axiom Church High Minister. After that, it goes through a number of other critical scenes setting the stage for Kirito’s adventures in Underworld. There is even a tease for Medina, the new heroine, and a peek at Asuna. Toward the end, we see Kirito, Alice, and Eugeo bonding together as friends. 

Sword Art Online: Alicization Lycoris will come to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on May 22, 2020.
