Yesterday, Microsoft announced that Swery’s The Good Life, which reached its Kickstarter goal back in May, is coming to Xbox One digitally. Swery elaborated further on the news in the latest Kickstarter update.

As part of the discussions, every Backer who has the option of getting a PlayStation 4 digital version of The Good Life now has the option of choosing an Xbox One digital copy instead, said Swery. There will be no Physical Collector’s edition for the Xbox One version, as that is not financially affordable.

For Backers who do want to change to Xbox One, they will be able to do so when the Kickstarter Backer survey is sent out in 2019. One thing to consider is that the Xbox One version of The Good Life will be part of the Xbox Game Pass catalog when it launches, so it will be available to people with a Game Pass subscription that way.

Speaking on the topic of a theoretical Nintendo Switch version, Swery stated that while they want to make it happen, it’s not something they can promise at the time being.

Finally, for players who didn’t back The Good Life because an Xbox One version wasn’t available, the game is available for pre-purchase via Backerkit here.

The Good Life is in development for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
