Go on a randomly-generated road trip from Florida to Ontario filled with zombies, weird survivors, and bad story choices in Death Road to Canada, releasing on Steam next month.
All aspects of the game are randomized every time the player sets out, ensuring a different undead adventure every time. Players can acquire weapons and survival gear by making stops along the way, and can meet and recruit other survivors as well. Those survivors have personality quirks that affect gameplay, helping or hindering them in certain situations.
Players can create their own survivors for the game, putting their own family and friends up against hordes of up to five hundred zombies as well.
Death Road to Canada will also feature narrative moments where the player can make decisions on what to do next. These are also affected by character quirks, and will provide different outcomes dictated by the party you’re bringing. A poor decision might result in a character’s death, though, which is permanent.
