When it comes to difficulty levels in rhythm games, higher levels require people to use more buttons. This is true of Superbeat Xonic, which offers 4TRAX, 6TRAX, and 6TRAX FX play modes. acttil has released a new trailer on the PlayStation Blog that shows exactly how each level works.

If someone chooses 4TRAX when playing Superbeat Xonic, notes will appear on four tracks along the gear, two on the left side and two on the right. They can tap the touch screen or use the analog sticks and up, down, triangle, and cross buttons to hit these notes. 6TRAX adds the left and circle buttons to the mix. With 6TRAX FX, people also need to hit the shoulder buttons. This is in addition to Easy, Normal, and Hard levels for each mode that are found in the options menu.

acttil also confirmed some other Superbeat Xonic details. Multiple music styles are found within the game, with over 45 pop, R&B, rock, and techno tracks appearing. There are also subgenres for each one within it. More songs will eventually be added via DLC. A DJ Ranking is also available, which allows people to check in online to see how they compare to other players.

Physical and digital versions of Superbeat Xonic will come to the PlayStation Vita on November 10. It will be $39.99.
