Bandai Namco has revealed full details for the upcoming Super Robot Wars 30th anniversary live stream. The “Hagane no Chou Kansha-sai 2021” (Super Gratitude Festival of Steel 2021) event will take place on July 11, 2021. The stream will be available on YouTube, Bandai Channel, Niconico, and Line Live. The stream will be comprised of two parts. The first part from 20:00 – 23:30 JST (07:00 – 10:30 AM ET) will deliver most of the game news. After going back through the 30-year history of the series, Takanobu Terada and Shohei Mogami will reveal new information on Super Robot Wars 30, including its release date and title roster list. Hiroaki Oochi will then publish more content for the mobile game Super Robot Wars DD. The first part will conclude with musical performances from JAM Project and Ichiro Mizuki.
The second part will go through midnight in Japan, from 24:00 to 25:00 JST (11:00 AM to 12:40 PM ET). The hosts will hold a special late-night talk show while introducing merchandise related to titles that have appeared in the series.
Bandai Namco will release the new console game Super Robot Wars 30 for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC in 2021 in Japan and Asia. It has also confirmed an official English release of the game in Southeast Asia. The Super Robot Wars DD mobile game is immediately available on Android and iOS devices in Japan and East Asia.
