Team Meat released its hardcore 2D platformer Super Meat Boy on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita recently. But the development pair also hinted at a possible Wii U version of the game.

On the day that Super Meat Boy came out on PlayStation platforms, October 6th, Tommy Refenes marked the occasion by thanking everyone who made the port possible on the studio’s official blog.

But at the bottom of that post, Refenes writes the following: “To the fan’s we’re still excluding I’ll leave you with this: Wii haven’t forgotten about U.”

That’s too much of an obvious hint for a Wii U version to not be on its way, surely? Hopefully we’ll have more news on this soon.
