While exploring Booster’s Tower in Super Mario RPG, you will eventually stumble across a locked door with a note next to it. The letter asks you to organize Booster’s family portraits from the oldest to the youngest. To start the puzzle, walk to the end of the hall and stand before the last portrait in the line.
Next, walk up to the photo and press the A button. The picture will flip around and become a giant image of the letter B. You will now need to interact with the rest of the portraits in the correct order. While this can be a challenging task, we’ve got you covered! You will know if you selected the correct order because Booster will quickly appear and reward you with the Elder Key. The giant key can immediately be used on the door to the left of the portraits in the hallway.

Completing Booster’s family portraits will reward you with the Chain Chomp weapon for Bowser. A quick cutscene featuring Bowser will play after unlocking the door with the Elder Key. Although the Chain Chomp is now yours, you will still need to equip it on Bowser in the menu.
Depending on which stats you level up in Super Mario RPG, the Chain Chomp weapon increases Bowser’s Attack stat by 10 points. The powerful item gives you an attack in combat, where you spin the weapon in the air before throwing it at an enemy.
