Super Groupies, a Japanese fashion brand that creates subtle clothing and accessories based on with anime and game series, is reproducing a wristwatch inspired by the watch held by Light Yagami, the protagonist of the anime series Death Note. The watch is available for purchase from the official online store for 32,780 yen ($226.40). It also ships outside Japan.
The watch itself is multi-functional, coming complete with a hidden back compartment that can be pulled out, just like in the original story. The product sample images tease at being able to fit a strip of paper inside it.
The watch is made of water resistant stainless steel. An engraving of the anime’s title logo and a silhouette of Ryuk the shinigami is printed on the back. The watch comes in one size.

The Death Note model wristwatch replica by Super Groupies was originally released in 2020 through an official collaboration. The collection also included a Death Note bag and wallet.
The Death Note model watch is available again in limited quantities while supplies last on the Super Groupies online store. It costs 32,780 yen ($226.40). The Death Note anime series is available to stream on Netflix, while Viz Media handles the manga outside Japan.
