New Blood & Synset, developers of Super Galaxy Squadron, have announced that the remastered version, Super Galaxy Squadron EX, will be available for free for owners of the original.
Super Galaxy Squadron was designed to be forgiving to shmup newcomers, being generous with health and providing an easier difficulty curve. It has a hardcore mode where you die in one hit for players looking for a greater challenge.
Super Galaxy Squadron EX is a rebuilt version of the original with new artwork, audio, and game modes. It still uses the same 14 available ships from the previous version. It will retail for $9.99 on Steam.
