Grasshopper Manufacture-founder Goichi “Suda51” Suda has been busy working on Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes, which we recently checked out, but he’s also working on a secret title that was teased in this week’s issue of Famitsu magazine. [Thanks, Ryokutya2089.]
Here’s the teaser tidbit from the magazine:
Goichi Suda: “Actually, we’re also developing ●●●.” [Note: The number of ● does not indicate the number of Japanese characters for the title.]
Famitsu: “It’s finally coming! I can’t help but have expectations for it!”
Based on the teaser and Famitsu’s reaction, it certainly sounds like something from an existing series. Ryokutya’s guess is that it sounds like some sort of sequel and perhaps one for Lollipop Chainsaw. Fatal Frame: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse, which Suda did some writing on, was also a topic in the article, so something for the Fatal Frame series was also suggested as another possibility.
In addition to Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes, Suda51 recently talked about other titles coming that includes remasters for Killer7 and Flower, Sun, and Rain. He also mentioned wanting to do something with pro wrestling for a new game, and you can read more about that in Siliconera’s interview with Goichi Suda.
