Strengthen Your Sword, Not Your Body, In Helen’s Mysterious Castle

The English version of Helen’s Mysterious Castle, a game where players must level up their weapons instead of their character, is now available on Steam.

The game, previously available on Playism’s site, stars Helen, a young girl trying to find her lost memories. To do so, she’ll have to fight her way through dungeons and ruins, battling monsters in 1-on-1 combat.

During those fights, she can switch between weapons. Each of her weapons, from swords to bows to magic, have monsters they hurt more than others, and Helen will need to learn which enemies to fight with which weapons to do well. She’ll need to be careful, though, as she doesn’t level up, although her weapons do as she gains experience.
