Another Street Fighter EX and Fighting EX Layer character is coming to Street Fighter V. Just like before, getting it involves proving your prowess in the Extra Battle mode. That is, if you want the Street Fighter V Skullomania costume. Capcom announced on Twitter that G’s the lucky fighter who’ll get to dress up as the iconic superhero.
As usual, Extra Battles use Fight Money to fight matches. You can get costumes as a result, and these outfits tend to be crossover looks for different characters.
While the other Street Fighter EX/Fighting EX Layer cameo costumes only had screenshots showing them off ahead of time, Skullomania is getting special treatment. Capcom released a whole trailer looking at how G’s costume will look in action.
This is now one of many Fighting EX Layer/Street Fighter EX costumes available in the game, and they’ve all essentially appeared in a row. Things started off in September 2020, when Ryu dressed like Kairi. Karin got a Hokuto costume in October. Then, back in November 2020, we got to see Cammy dress up as Blair Dame.
Street Fighter V is available for the PlayStation 4 and PC. The Street Fighter V Skullomania G costume will be available starting December 8, 2020, and you will have until December 23, 2020 to get it.
