Udon Entertainment will begin publishing a new monthly Street Fighter comic series this December, the company has announced. Titled Street Fighter Unlimited, the comic will feature characters from all eras of Street Fighter.

Udon’s press release states: “The new monthly series will be helmed by returning Street Fighter scribe Ken Siu-chong (Street Fighter IV, Super Street Fighter), while pencillers Joe Ng (Street Fighter Origins: Akuma) and Edwin Huang (Skullkickers) will trade off art chores tackling 4-issue story arcs.”

Ryu, Chun-li, Guile, Ken, Alex, Cammy and more will face the Shadaloo organization in Street Fighter Unlimited, and also Gill and his cult-like Secret Society. The stories will lead up to a new Street Fighter tournament in some manner.

Udon say that even more Street Fighter comics will be announced in the future as Street Fighter V nears release in 2016.
