During the Street Fighter 6 Showcase, Capcom announced that a demo for the game is on the way. People will be able to test out the game on the PS4 and PS5 immediately. On April 26, 2023, it will come to other platforms. People’s avatar will carry over, but saved progress will not. This comes after various leaks and rumors suggested one would happen at the end of April.
The teaser also announced some of what people can expect from it. The announcement noted that an avatar can be made and carried over to the full game. People can also test out World Tour mode. Ryu and Luke are confirmed Legendary Fighter masters for it.

Ahead of the reveal, Capcom’s talked lots about the game. For example, it regularly shows off developer matches between old and new characters. Like we could watch Cammy face Manon and Zangief and Marisa brawl. It’s also offered more ambiance for what’s going on by sharing soundtrack clips. Cammy’s new theme song appeared in April 2023.
Street Fighter 6 will appear on the PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC on June 2, 2023. It will also appear in arcades. The Street Fighter 6 demo is out now on the PS4 and PS5, but comes to the Xbox Series X and PC on April 26, 2023.
