Image & Form has announced that its turn-based strategy and space adventure sequel SteamWorld Heist will launch for 3DS on December 10th.

That date applies to the Americas, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand. The Japanese version will be coming at a later date. The Wii U, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation Vita, and PC versions of SteamWorld Heist will also come later.

The price point that Image & Form has settled on for SteamWorld Heist is $19.99 / €19.99 / £14.99. However, from launch and until December 31st, the game will be available at the discounted price of $16.99 / €16.99 / £11.99.

Also within that period (December 10th – December 31st), everybody who purchases the game will receive an exclusive SteamWorld Heist 3DS Home Menu theme. Image & Form reckons that the theme won’t ever be available again after that.
