Undead Labs released a new trailer for State of Decay 3, offering fresh insights into the anticipated zombie survival game. Announced during the Xbox Games Showcase on June 6, 2024 after things like Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 , the trailer combines cinematic sequences and gameplay footage, setting the stage for what players can expect from the next installment in the franchise.

The initial reveal trailer, released in 2020, depicted a lone character equipped with a knife and crossbow in a hostile snow covered environment.

State of Decay 3 is being developed by Undead Labs, which is now part of Xbox Game Studios. The game utilizes Unreal Engine 5 and is supported by The Coalition, known for their work on the Gears of War series. It is set to release on Xbox Series X and PC. Additionally, the game will be available on Xbox Game Pass and Xbox Cloud Gaming from day one. Despite the new trailer, a specific release date has not yet been announced.

State of Decay 3 will be available on PC and Xbox Series X, with launch availability on Xbox Game Pass. There’s still no release date for the game just yet.
