You’ve seen LovePlus and My Wife. But if those aren’t fantastical enough for you — in a manner of speaking — there’s always 8-bit Girlfriend, which released on Xbox Live this past weekend, based on a webcomic of the same name.

 

8-bit Girlfriend is a dating-sim set in an intentionally generic retro fantasy setting. You take on a role of Sir Knight and can attempt to court four different classes of RPG beauties: the Princess, Elf, Thief and Item Shop Girl. In order to win each one over, you have to make the right choices. Judging from the screenshots, it shouldn’t be too hard to figure out what those are.
