The wait is over. Eric “Concerned Ape” Barone revealed North American Stardew Valley Switch and PC physical copies are being made by Fangamer. The company will ship them out in November 2020. Standard editions will be $29 for PCs and $34 for the Switch. Collector’s Editions will be $64 for a PC copy and $69 for a Switch one.
As you might imagine, the Stardew Valley Switch and PC Collector’s Editions will be far more elaborate. People will get a wooden standee of the farmstead with a cow, chicken, goat pig, and farmhouse. You’ll also get a cleaning cloth with characters from the game on it. There’s a wooden lapel pun with a Junimo on it and some mushrooms. You also get the 14-page physical Junimo comic by Chihiro Sakaida. The bundle is topped off with a deed to your “farm.” Also, if you order before August 15, 2020, you get a poster.
The Stardew Valley Switch physical copies were teased back in April 2020. This was after it received a retail release in Japan. It already appeared physically on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in North America.
Stardew Valley is available on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, Xbox One, PC, and mobile devices worldwide. The Switch and PC physical copies from Fangamer will arrive in November 2020.
