Eric “Concerned Ape” Barone revealed the popular farming simulator Stardew Valley is now available as a board game. He cooperated with Cole Medeiros on the title. People will get to cooperate with friends to defeat the evil Joja Corporation and bring life back to the town of Stardew Valley. You can buy the game at $55 from the official website, but it currently can’t be shipped outside of the U.S.
Winning the game requires the players to fulfill Grandpa’s Goals or restore the Community Center by collecting bundles. If the final Season Card is drawn and the players have not completed their objectives, the game ends with Joja’s victory. The game has high replay value, due to shuffling the cards needed for bundles and Grandpa’s Goals. The instruction manual in the game also provides different ways to adjust the difficulty.

Fans will need to act fast while supplies last. However, there will be reprints if needed. Barone said, “If there’s more demand for it, then we’ll definitely do more print runs, and maybe slowly expand… We’re kind of just testing the waters for now and see what the response is.”
Stardew Valley is a highly successful, open-ended simulation role-playing video game released in 2016. The player takes over their deceased grandfather’s farm in the town of Stardew Valley. Players can grow crops, craft goods, slay monsters, and befriend the townspeople. It is available on multiple platforms, including Windows, Nintendo Switch, and iOS. It still receives frequent updates, such as the recent 1.5 update for Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
The board game is purchasable from the official Stardew Valley website at $55 and only ships to the U.S.
