StarCrossed is a co-op shmup inspired by magical girls, having players bounce a power star between one another in order to beat back the strange foes that have are attacking from space.
The star bounces automatically between the two magical girls the player has chosen to use, so it is up to the players to position themselves so that the star bounces through the enemies that are coming toward them, destroying them on contact. Distance and positioning are key, as players will be in danger as they wait the split seconds for the star to return.
The developers have promised a full story mode and survival mode for players to work through in the future when the game releases this Summer. In the meantime, a demo is available for download on Itch.io.
