It isn’t May the Fourth 2021 yet, but Star Wars game news already came up. Namely, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order PS5 and Xbox Series X ports are both in the works. There’s no release date for them yet, but existing owners of PS4 or Xbox One versions will get the updated versions for free.
Details about how the PS5 and Xbox One versions of Star Wars Jedi also didn’t come up. Rather, the initial announcement vaguely hinted at things people can expect. To be specific, it said “technical improvements” will appear in these ports.
While there hasn’t been much new content released for Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, EA continued to support and port it. For example, in May 2020 a New Game Plus option appeared for everyone who owned it. A Google Stadia version also appeared in November 2020.
There will also be a way to get Star Wars Jedi and two other recent releases at a slightly lower price. Between April 30, 2021 and May 11, 2021, all PS4, Xbox One, and PC digital storefronts that carry the titles will have an EA Star Wars Triple Bundle with Star Wars Jedi, Star Wars Battlefront II: Celebration Edition, and Star Wars: Squadrons.
Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Stadia. The Star Wars Jedi PS5 and Xbox Series X versions are also in development and on the way.
