Square Enix Will Keep Dragon Quest X Going With New Content Each Week

imageDragon Quest X will come out on August 2, but the team won’t get a month long vacation in Hawaii to celebrate years of work. They’re going to be working on the next round of Dragon Quest X content.

Producer Yosuke Saito said the game will have weekly updates with additional quests and story segments. Roughly ten weeks after Dragon Quest X launches, Square Enix will release a large scale version update with new systems and gameplay elements.

 

Dragon Quest X has two hours of free play time each day, but if you want to dive into the world you’ll need a 30 day/ 1,000 yen ($13) subscription.
