Square Enix Shared a SaGa Emerald Beyond TGS 2023 Trailer

Now that the 2023 Tokyo Game Show kicked off in Japan, Square Enix is sharing more details about upcoming games. When it comes to SaGa Emerald Beyond, there’s a TGS 2023 trailer focusing on characters and combat. The video first offers a brief look at all of the people we’ll get to follow. This includes peeks at their story segments, as well as some of their attacks. However, it doesn’t look too different from the September 2023 Nintendo Direct reveal trailer.

This latest SaGa Emerald Beyond trailer begins with Tsunanori. We see him exploring an open area, then finding out in a story segment that he’s “chosen.” We also see a brief attack. After that, Ameya the witch appears. She appears to be a “magical girl” type, as we see her transform. Her goal is to save someone named Pulchra from the Calamity. Siugnas’ segment seems to suggest he’s a vampire. Diva No. 5 shows up after that, and we see a mech wandering through the world, then her in a story segment. Finally, the character-focused segments ends with a look at the cops Bonny and Formina, with us seeing them during a story segment and when attacking.

Here’s the new SaGa Emerald Beyond TGS 2023 trailer:

SaGa Emerald Beyond is in development and will head to the Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, PC, and mobile devices sometime in 2024.
