Here’s the official announcement, complete with pictures of Aerith’s flower garden at her home in the Sector 5 slums in Midgar from Final Fantasy VII Remake. The water seen from the waterfall and pond are coming from that clean water source. The abandoned church in Sector 5 also has access to it. Aerith then uses that to take care of all her plants.

As a reminder, in Final Fantasy VII Remake, Cloud and Aerith use her flowers for the Leaf House Delivery to decorate the children’s orphanage in Midgar Sector 5. Depending on the types of flowers chosen, you can end up with a Cactaur, Chocobo, or Moogle decoration for the kids.

Final Fantasy VII Remake is available for the PS4, PS5, and PC, and Rebirth is expected to release in 2023.
