During the September 2023 Nintendo Direct, a Spy x Family Switch game called Spy x Anya: Operation Memories appeared. This will be a slice of life sort of game. Players will follow Anya and help her fill up a diary with experiences for school. After the Direct, Bandai Namco announced it would head to the PS4, PS5, and PC as well.
Here’s the first trailer for the game. It begins with Anya talking to her friend Becky about how she’s going to make a “super-duper awesome” diary. We then see her both in school and at home with her “parents” Loid and Yor. She goes to different places with her family to get photographs of events. A card game with Damian also appears at one point in this first trailer. The voice over notes this will have life sim elements as you go through the days and weeks, with players influencing the diary Anya “creates” by the time it is all done.
The Spy x Anya: Operation Memories Spy x Family Switch, PS4, PS5, and PC game will come out worldwide sometime in 2024. Viz Media handles the release of the manga outside Japan. The first season of the anime is available on Crunchyroll. The Spy x Family: Code White movie and season 2 are in development and on the way, with the film coming to Japan on December 22, 2023.
