Splatoon, Nintendo’s third-person multiplayer shooter for the Wii U, will be released sometime during Q2 2015, the company announced during a Nintendo Direct presentation this afternoon.

 

Splatoon, as previously reported, is a 4-on-4 game, and Nintendo have confirmed that it will include online multiplayer capabilities.

 

You can view a new trailer for Splatoon above, although the trailer focuses on the game’s single-player aspect.
