Spike Chunsoft is reportedly working on a solution for Nintendo eShop connection issues for EU physical versions of Danganronpa Decadence. The connection issue affects the game’s vending machines, preventing players from accessing the eShop and purchasing currency in Danganronpa S. There is no confirmed fix date for the connection issue.
We are aware that the Danganronpa Decadence EU physical version has issues connecting to the Nintendo eShop through the vending machine in the school store. We are working to solve the issue as soon as possible. We apologize for the inconvenience. @NumskullGames

The MonoMono vending machines in Danganronpa S: Ultimate Summer Camp allow players to purchase in-game currency with real-world money. Users can then use this currency to roll a gacha in order to acquire character cards to use in the game. However, several players reported that the vending machine refused to connect to the eShop after the game released. Though some users reported that updating to the day one patch fixed the issue, others stated that it did not solve the problem.
In a tweet, Spike Chunsoft confirms that the eShop connection issues are specific to European physical copies of Danganronpa Decadence. It also notes that it is working with European region publisher Numskull Games to solve the issue. Numskull Games was the publisher in charge of the European physical edition of Danganronpa Decadence.
Danganronpa Decadence is a collection of past titles in the series, from Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc to Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony. The collection also includes Danganronpa S: Ultimate Summer Camp, an expanded standalone version of a Danganronpa V3 minigame.
Danganronpa Decadence is immediately available for the Nintendo Switch. All four games are also available separately on the Nintendo Switch store.
