We just couldn’t have a PlayStation firmware update without some additions to Sony Computer Entertainment Japan’s constantly growing list of downloadable PsOne games. This week’s selection is meager with only two titles to be envious over. Taito brings us classic Space Invaders with a side by side two player twist. You can enjoy Space Invaders in four styles: cellophane, upright (arcade cabinet style), color, and monochrome for 600 yen ($5.50). Tsuukai!! Slot Shooting joins Space Invaders. Sony describes it as a shooting game, but it looks more like a falling crab game thing. The two line text description doesn’t help much either. If someone played this before, and judging by the knowledgeable Siliconera audience I wouldn’t be surprised if someone out there has, share some details about this in the comments.
Also if you purchased Soukaigi way back in August an update makes it PSP and PlayStation 3 compatible.
