South of Midnight Announced at Xbox Games Showcase 2023

Developer Compulsion Games revealed its new game South of Midnight during the Xbox Games Showcase 2023. The announcement trailer showcased a mysterious banjo player named Shakin’ Bones. A woman called Hazel approached him and asked him to cash in a favor he owed her. There is no release window for the game yet, though it will appear in Xbox Series X|S and PC. Additionally, the game will appear on Xbox and PC Game Pass on launch.

Compulsion Games is also known for having developed puzzle-platformer Contrast, released in 2013, and the 2018 survival game We Happy Few.

South of Midnight will come out for the Xbox Series X and Windows PC via Steam. It will also appear on Xbox and PC Game Pass on launch. There is no information on a release date or release window for the game yet.
