Soul Eater: Medusa no Inbou DS Game Gets Fan Translation

Soul Eater: Medusa no Inbou

Soul Eater: Medusa no Inbou, a video game spin-off of the Soul Eater series on Nintendo DS, has been fan translated into English by Anime Game Translations Team. The game is an adaptation of the first half of the anime and focuses on Maka, Black☆Star, and Kid’s training at the “Death Weapon Meister Academy.” The world order is under threat from the Kishin, and the three teams must overcome their weaknesses and learn how to turn their partners into Death Scythes if they want to have a chance at stopping it.

Gameplay-wise, you choose missions at the academy, and then fight from an isometric perspective on the bottom screen. In order to use various moves, you’ll need to tap or swipe using the touchscreen, and you can also swap between the three teams at any time.

The fan translation is faithful to the English subtitles of the anime from Funimation, and to make things smoother, the translation team has also included a walkthrough to help out if you’re stuck. You can check out a few screenshots of the game below:
