Sony Opens Update Email Signups Ahead of PlayStation 5 Release

Sony has done something that might help encourage even more hype ahead of the PlayStation 5 release. The company has opened signups for email updates about the next console. The official website is live in Europe, and people can opt in to get new information as the company decides to trickle it out.

The website doesn’t offer any new details about the PlayStation 5 release. It confirms it will be released in time for the 2020 holiday season. It also says people who register will be told about things like the PlayStation 5 price and launch games.

So far, information has been trickled out ahead of the PlayStation 5 release. We’ve seen a logo, which looks very familiar. Some features were teased. But for the most part, a lot of things have been kept quiet since its official announcement.

The PlayStation 5 release is set for the 2020 holiday season.
