Sony offers digital rebates for the Last Guy: Japan Premium

lgjp.jpgNorth America, Europe, well everywhere else, but Japan are lucky when it comes to the Last Guy. Sony released a free demo which is a slightly extended version of the Last Guy: Japan Premium on the PlayStation Store today. The difference is you don’t have to pay 500 yen ($4.50) to give the game a try. Sure, the free demo doesn’t let players explore all of Asakusa, have VIPs or the online ranking system. But the Last Guy: Japan Premium is really a glorified demo with a premium price.

Sony Computer Entertainment Japan is sort of making it up to people who purchased the Last Guy: Japan Premium by refunding the spent 500 yen to the linked PSN e-mail address if you buy the Last Guy between August 28, the launch date, and October 30. If you don’t purchase the full game by then you’re out of luck. I suppose you can call this an upgrade since the price for the actual game wasn’t revealed when the Last Guy Japan Premium came out. Sony Japan needs to be more candid about these things and offer more demos to Japan for free.
