A manga version of Sonic the Hedgehog will appear in CoroCoro Comics from the October 2024 issue. You’ll also be able to check out demos of the game and purchase goods at the CoroCoro Tamashii Festival section of the International Tokyo Toy Show. [Thanks, ryokutya2089!]
There’s not a lot of information at the moment in regards to the Sonic the Hedgehog comic. The last piece of information CoroCoro posted about Sonic on its website was in 2023 to introduce Sonic Superstars. However, since Sonic the Hedgehog will be at the International Tokyo Toy Show as part of CoroCoro’s booth, we may get more details then.
The International Tokyo Toy Show will be on August 31 and September 1, 2024. You’ll be able to find the CoroCoro Tamashii Festival in the West Hall 3 at the Tokyo big Sight. As mentioned earlier, the Sonic the Hedgehog booth will feature merchandise, as well as give visitors a chance to demo some of the games. It costs 1600 JPY ($11.05) for an early bird ticket to the International Tokyo Toy Show. However, if you’re a middle schooler or younger, you can get in for free.
Sonic the Hedgehog will start serialization in CoroCoro Comics from the October 2024 issue.
