A new multiplayer trailer and release date for the upcoming Sonic Superstars appeared during the gamescom 2023 event. It will launch on October 17, 2023. This new entry in Sega’s long-standing franchise will be a classic Sonic game with 2.5D graphics. It will include four-player co-op, as well as a competitive Battle Mode. Additionally, Sega revealed that Sonic Frontiers will receive new content in The Final Horizon Update on September 28, 2023.

Furthermore, here is the new Sonic Frontiers The Final Horizon Update trailer. It is yet unknown whether the update will be free or paid downloadable content.
In a June 2023 interview with Sonic Superstars Creative Officer Takashi Iizuka and Producer Naoto Ohshima, the developers confirmed that the game will have a Lego Eggman pre-order skin to commemorate the recent release of Lego Sonic sets. Additionally, Sonic Frontiers received a free Birthday Bash DLC update on June 23, 2023.
The Sonic Superstars release date is October 17, 2023. It will come out for the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Nintendo Switch, and Windows PC. Sonic Frontiers is immediately available for the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Windows PC, and Nintendo Switch. The Final Horizon Update will appear on September 28, 2023.
