In January 2020, a Sonic movie and Sonic Forces: Speed Battle collaboration was confirmed. At the time, only the film’s Teen Sonic character showed, but Baby Sonic was teased. Now, Baby Sonic’s playable debut has been confirmed.

The Sonic movie Baby Sonic character is going to be something of a special one. He is considered a special character whose acceleration stat is top notch and speed is almost maxed out, but is among the weakest in the game. To compare, the Teen Sonic character’s speed is maxed out, but his acceleration and strength are only average.
Baby Sonic also will have the ability to pick up EMP Boost, Shield, Storm Cloud, and Whirlwind items during his runs. He’s the only character with EMP Boost in the game. Likewise, Teen Sonic has a Sonic Movie-inspired move exclusive to him: Ring Portal.
In addition to the two Sonic movie characters, the Sonic Forces mobile game added some new locations from the movie. These are the High Hill Park, Street Retreat, and Suburban Speedway in Golden Bay Zone.
Sonic Forces: Speed Battle is available for Android and Apple iOS devices. Sonic the Hedgehog will appear in theaters on February 14, 2020 in North America and March 27, 2020 in Japan.
