Early in October 2022, Sonic Frontiers composer Tomoya Ohtani revealed the 150-song soundtrack would be available, with a six-CD physical release coming in Japan. Now, Ohtani offered a little clarification to explain why the soundtrack is so large. It turns out there is a wealth of unique music in the game, with every Cyber Space location and Guardian’s Battle fight getting its own track.

Here’s Ohtani’s official explanation, which he shared on Twitter.

While the full Sonic Frontiers soundtrack isn’t available yet, Sega did share some of the songs online on YouTube. First, the ending theme “Vandalize,” by One OK Rock, appeared. After that, the theme song “I’m Here” showed up. That is performed by To Octavia singer Merry Kirk-Holmes. The most recent one is “Cyber Space DJ Mix.” It is described as a mix of Cyber Space songs.

In case you missed it, here’s the “Cyber Space DJ Mix” video.

Sonic Frontiers will come out for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Windows PC, and Nintendo Switch on November 8, 2022. The physical version of the soundtrack will appear in Japan on December 7, 2022, and it should appear worldwide at about the same time.
