SNK May Be Teasing Vice and Mature for KOF XV

SNK shared a silhouette of the KOF XV Evo 2024 DLC reveal, and it could be Vice and Mature. While the image is combined into one black shadow, it almost seems to look like two characters are overlapping on top of each other. 

Here is SNK’s announcement on social media. As pointed out by a user named Lyraaaaaaa, the shadows near the characters’ heads are a clear distinction. Mature is taller than Vice and wears her blonde hair in a ponytail with exaggerated bangs. Meanwhile, Vice is slightly shorter and has short, brown hair. Both women wear matching outfits with frilled cuffs, which explains why the arms match. Also, they each wear skirts with slits on opposite sites, which would make it look like one skirt for the silhouette. Finally, as both are Orochi descendants who work for Rugal Bernstein and appear on the same team in past entries.

The last KOF game both Vice and Mature appeared in was The King of Fighters XIV. They were a part of Yagami Team with Iori. Likewise, both of them were paired up with him in KOF XIII. However, on occasion they do work with others, such as when the two were on the Mature Ladies Team with Vanessa.

It’s actually been a while since a new KOF XV DLC character appeared. The last one was Hinako Shijo in November 2023. Before that, Duo Lon joined in September 2023.

The King of Fighters XV is immediately available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
