Smash Ultimate Slows Down Spirit Shields With Its Latest Spirit Board Event

Nintendo has announced the latest Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Spirit Board event, titled ‘Spirit Shield Slowdown’.

 

Like the name implies, the shield surrounding a character after a Spirit Battle is slowed, and players also earn triple SP during the event. The event begins on May 24, 2019, and will last three days.

 

Additionally, the Japanese Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Twitter accidentally posted the picture for next week’s event, where a new Peachette spirit is set to be added:

It seems that this event will have a large focus on heroines.
