Inspired by Crash Team Racing, humanoid animals and other creatures hop aboard speedy karts, launching an array of silly weapons at each other as they race or battle in playful arcade racer The Karters.
Players can choose from the game’s available characters and rush across its maps, grabbing weapons to take out the competition in online or local multiplayer. For those who like the mayhem without the racing, the game also features a Battle Mode where players can just fight it out.
The Karters’ racing will take place on four maps should it release on Early Access, but is expected to increase to twelve to sixteen for the final version. Also, the game’s five available characters should also increase to ten to twelve, each with their own animations and racing abilities.
The Karters is currently seeking votes on Steam Greenlight to release on Early Access.
