Sky Crawlers May Be Pushed Back To Early Next Year

https://vip-develop.siliconera.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/innocentaces_manga.jpg?resize=153%2C221 Last we heard, Sky Crawlers: Innocent Aces was coming this holiday season. Amazon, Gamefly, and Gamestop, however, lists for January 2010. We got in touch with Xseed to confirm if the game was being pushed back.

“The title is scheduled for a ‘Winter 2009’ release, which can include early 2010 as well. An official release date should be announced shortly.”

If this is the case, Xseed’s big three Wii games — Sky Crawlers, Arc Rise Fantasia and Fragile — are scheduled for next year. Valhalla Knights is still listed for October 31 on Amazon though, and that’s probably a good thing since it would have to go up against Monster Hunter 3 next year.

Incidentally, there’s a manga based on Innocent Aces being serialized in Japan. It’s running in Comic Blade magazine, which is published by Mag Garden, which is in turn owned by IG Port, the holdings company for Production I.G.
