SIX LOUNGE will sing the new ending for the second cour of My Hero Academia season 6. It is a rock and roll band, and My Hero Academia appears to be its first time contributing to an anime. You can listen to a preview of the song via a trailer on the TOHO Animation YouTube channel:

As for the opening song, we do not yet know the artist. But since the new part will start airing on January 7, 2023, people will be able to find out very soon. Previous opening used fairly well-known artists such as Man With a Mission, Kenshi Yonezu, Blue Encount, and Porno Graffitti.

This is a fairly standard practice in anime, and has been for quite some time. Usually, when an anime splits its season into different cours, they change up the opening and ending. For example, Spy x Family’s first opening was “Mixed Nuts.” However, when the second cour aired, it changed to “Souvenir.”

My Hero Academia season 6 part 2 will start airing on January 7, 2023. You can readily watch My Hero Academia, as well as new episodes after January 7, on Crunchyroll.
